December Harmon supports ending For-Profit prisons and ending the Cash Bail system. She does not support the death penalty.

"If we lived in a world that always got it right, I'd feel differently. The fact of the matter is we have systemic racism and hyper-aggressive policing. More weight is put into getting someone rather than getting the right one.

We exacerbate the problem when we incentivize criminal justice towards injustice. For-Profit prisons only make money when they have prisoners. We also judge one's innocence against their coin purse.
